Discover answers to common questions about the design process, pricing, and what it’s like working together.
I focus on building and developing your website (clean, responsive, hand-coded). I'm basically responsible for bringing your website to life!
For visual design,
I collaborate with a professional UX/UI designer so every page feels intentional and polished.
No, you'll communicate with me as your main point of contact. I'll gather any feedback you have for the designer and make sure everything is running smoothly!
Yes! If you have any websites/ brands that you take inspiration from, I'll let me designer know.
The timeline really depends on the project scope and how quickly you’re able to send feedback.
Once we have your content and your direction, things usually move pretty quickly. Either way, I’ll give you an estimated timeline up front.
Communication is simple and consistent. Most updates and feedback are handled through email, and if something is urgent, we can use text or a quick call.
You’ll also have a clear timeline from the start, and I’ll send progress updates at key milestones so you always know where we are in the process. The faster feedback and content are provided, the faster your website can be completed.
Yes, working with a UX/UI designer adds to the overall cost of the project. My designer charges based on the complexity and scope of the design work required.
Yes. I charge for the development side of the project, bringing your website to life! That includes coding/building the site, helping set up your domain, and getting everything connected to hosting so your site is live and running smoothly.
I don’t list pricing because each website is customized. To keep things fair, I quote based on your project’s needs so you’re paying for exactly what you need, not a one-size-fits-all package.
Once I learn what you’re looking for, I’ll send a clear quote and timeline before we begin!
I accept payments through Stripe so clients can pay by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. If you prefer PayPal, I can do that too. For returning clients, Zelle is also an option.
Yes. A deposit is required to reserve your spot and begin work. My minimum deposit is $100, and for most projects it is 50 percent of the total quote.
For most projects, it is a deposit plus a final payment. For larger projects, I can split payments into a few milestones so it feels more manageable. Just ask and we will choose what makes sense.
No. I do not use templates or website builders like Wix or WordPress. Everything I build is hand coded from scratch, so your site feels like your brand and not a copy and paste of someone else’s.
Custom code is lean, fast, and built only with what your website actually needs. Website builders often come with extra features and plugins running in the background that you may never use, which can slow things down.
It can also be more secure. With a hand coded site, there are fewer moving parts, fewer third party plugins, and no admin dashboard for someone to try to break into. In other words, there’s simply less stuff for hackers to mess with. Clean, simple, and a lot harder to poke at.
And of course, custom code gives you more flexibility and uniqueness. Your site is built around your brand, not boxed into a template. Basically, no extra fluff. Just the good stuff.
Yes! I build every website to be fully responsive, which means it will look great and work smoothly on phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops.
I test it across screen sizes to make sure everything stays clean, readable, and easy to use no matter what device your customers are on.
Yes, with a small note. Since your site is hand coded, you cannot just log into a dashboard and click a few buttons to change things unless you know how to code.
Most clients simply send me what they want updated and I handle it quickly. Think of me like your website’s personal mechanic. You drive it, I keep it running and looking fresh.
Of course! You will have full ownership of your website files and source code, so switching is totally possible.
If you ever decide to work with someone else, you will not be trapped or locked in. Even if I get abducted by aliens, you will still have everything you need to keep your site going.
If you need to cancel after we’ve started, you can, and there's no hard feelings! Your initial deposit reserves your spot on my schedule and covers time already invested, so it’s non refundable.
If additional payments have been made, I’ll bill for work completed up to the cancellation date, and any remaining balance for unfinished work will be refunded.
Refunds depend on the stage of the project. The deposit is non refundable once work begins.
After that, payments are tied to progress, so you’re only paying for work that’s been completed. Domain and hosting costs paid to third party providers are non refundable.
Yes! If you want ongoing support, I offer a $50/month maintenance plan for routine updates and site care.
If you don’t need monthly support, you can also request one time updates as needed, and I’ll quote a flat rate based on the change so you know the cost up front.
Yes. You’ll purchase your domain (your website name) and a hosting plan so your site can be live online. I’ll guide you through the setup and connect everything for you.
I recommend buying your domain through Porkbun and hosting through Netlify, and the hosting cost is typically around $9–$20/month depending on your needs and traffic.
